Drinkkompassen

Drinkkompassen is built by Joakim Jedholt, a solo developer based in Stockholm. The app grew out of a simple problem. I was standing in front of my home bar with no idea what to mix.

The cocktail apps that existed were recipe databases. Search for an Old Fashioned, get thirty variations back, nothing about what I could actually make with the bottles I had. Drinkkompassen is built from the other direction. Tell it which bottles you own and it tells you what you can do.

The content is curated, not algorithmic. 431 recipes, all tested. Two hundred of them come with a backstory, because an Old Fashioned isn't just a recipe, it's the nineteenth century in a glass.

No ads. No tracking. No subscription that pulls money every month. Pro is a one-time purchase of £3.99. That's enough.

The app is made for people who take the craft seriously. For your home bar, a weekend evening at home, the nights when you want to make something properly.
